In southeast Florida, the Loxahatchee River winds through the lands of Jonathan Dickinson State Park. This river is the first in Florida to be designated by the federal government as a Wild and Scenic River. The park is open from 8 am until sunset year round. Recreational kayakers, kayak fishermen and those who would rather paddle a canoe can enjoy the all year! Jonathan Dickinson State Park has camping facilities available and some cabins available to rent. Spend a weekend enjoying the recreational paddling opportunities.
